Energy Assistance
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (better known as LIHEAP) is a critical heating and cooling program for low-income Tennessee families. Each year, thousands of families seek assistance from one of 19 nonprofit or local government agencies community agencies that help the Department of Human Services administer these federal dollars.

Weatherization
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) is 100% federally-funded through a grant from the Federal Department of Energy. The program provides funds to the states to assist with the weatherization of the homes of low income, elderly, and disabled adults and families.
